Zoom Integration Guide

This guide explains how to add, use, and remove the Zoom integration with ONGEVIT.

Adding the Zoom Integration

To connect Zoom to your ONGEVIT account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to ONGEVIT
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Settings"
  3. Select the "Integrations" tab
  4. In the Zoom section, click the "Connect" button
  5. You will be redirected to the Zoom login page
  6. Log in with your Zoom account and authorize ONGEVIT access
  7. After authorization, you will be automatically redirected back to ONGEVIT settings

Using the Zoom Integration

Once Zoom is connected, the following features become available:

Automatic Zoom Meeting Creation

When adding an event to a program, enable the "Create Zoom Meeting" option to:

  • Automatically create a Zoom meeting for the event
  • Auto-generate meeting ID, password, and join URL
  • Allow participants to join the meeting with one click from the event details page

Customizing Meeting Settings

You can customize the following settings for each meeting:

  • Enable/disable waiting room
  • Allow participants to join before host
  • Mute participants upon entry
  • Host/participant video settings
  • Auto-recording settings (none/local/cloud)

Removing the Zoom Integration

To disconnect Zoom from ONGEVIT:

  1. Log in to ONGEVIT
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Settings"
  3. Select the "Integrations" tab
  4. In the Zoom section, click the "Disconnect" button
  5. Click "Disconnect" in the confirmation dialog

Note: Disconnecting the integration will not delete existing Zoom meetings. To delete meetings, please do so directly from your Zoom dashboard.

Complete Removal from Zoom Account

To completely remove the ONGEVIT app from your Zoom account:

  1. Log in to the Zoom web portal (zoom.us)
  2. Select "App Marketplace" from the left menu
  3. Go to "Manage" → "Installed Apps"
  4. Find ONGEVIT and click "Uninstall"

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

  • Disable your browser's popup blocker
  • Ensure you are logged into the correct Zoom account
  • If already connected, try disconnecting and reconnecting

Meetings Not Being Created

  • Verify that Zoom integration is active in your settings
  • Check your Zoom account permissions
